Katy Perry spices up the cover of Maxim’s January 2011 issue as the reigning queen of the Hot 100 list!

Here is what the 26-year-old singer had to share with the mag:

On being number one on the Hot List: “It’s a worldwide thing - the rest of the world makes it their standard. It’s on of the questions they ask me in all interviews now, even in place where Maxim doesn’t exist. I’ll go to Timbuktu, and they’ll be like, ‘You’re the No. 1 hottest,’ and I’m like, ‘Maxim said so, but thank you so much for saying so in Timbuktu.’”

On who she’d like to see take over her title: “Zoe Saldana. She is so chic and cool. And Camilla Belle I love. She is the modern-day Liz Taylor.”

On comparisons to Lady Gaga and Ke$ha: “I love what Gaga is doing, and I love what Ke$ha is doing. I’ve know Ke$ha forever. She’s actually in the “I Kissed a Girl” video.”

Sienna Miller gets into the holiday spirit for the St Paul’s Knightsbridge carol service on Tuesday (December 7) in London, England.

Over the weekend, the 28-year-old actress stepped out at The Young Vic Theatre to support her boyfriend Jude Law ,who performed in a benefit performance of Belarus: Zone of Silence.

Last week, Sienna lit up the famous landmark, the London Eye, in red for World AIDS Day.

Elle Fanning walks the red carpet at the premiere of her film Somewhere held at the ArcLight Hollywood on Tuesday (December 7) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 12-year-old actress was joined by her co-star Stephen Dorff and director Sofia Coppola on the carpet.

Somewhere is about a hard-living Hollywood actor (Dorff) who re-examines his life after his 11-year-old daughter (Fanning) surprises him with a visit.

Blake Lively skips the red carpet and sneaks in the back door at the premiere of Blue Valentine held at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (December 7) in New York.

The film stars Ryan Gosling, who Blake spent time with a few months ago at an ice cream parlor at Disneyland in California.

Ryan walked the red carpet with his co-star Michelle Williams and also presented the movie for the audience!

Blake is set to be the new face of Chanel and recently flew to Paris to shoot a campaign for their new handbags.

Cate Blanchett will reprise her role of Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings trilogy in the upcoming adaptation of the trilogy’s prequel, The Hobbit.

The film will be split into two parts that will be filmed back-to-back starting this February, according to Variety.

Director Peter Jackson commented on Cate’s casting, saying “[she] is one of my favorite actors to work with and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her reprise the role she so beautifully brought to life in the earlier films.”

Jake Gyllenhaal walks through Sydney International Airport on his way to catch a departing flight on Wednesday (December 8) in Sydney, Australia.

The day before, the 29-year-old actor had lunch with his Love & Other Drugs co-star Anne Hathaway while cruising around Sydney Harbour on a boat.

Jake and Anne have been in Australia over the past few days to promote their romantic comedy. On Monday (December 6), they attended the premiere of the film.

Michelle Williams walks the red carpet at the premiere of her film Blue Valentine held at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (December 7) in New York.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old actress attended a screening of the movie that was hosted by Robert DeNiro.

The 29-year-old pop princess just returned from a trip to Mexico with her boyfriend Jason Trawick, where they celebrated her birthday.

Brit turned 29 on December 2nd! She started her celebrations by announcing to her Twitter followers that her next album will be released in March.

Alexis Bledel has joined the cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore!

The 29-year-old actress will join Pauletta Washington, Anita Gillette and Judy Gold in the January cast of the hit Off-Broadway show. Alexis will perform from January 12 until February 13, according to BroadwayWorld!

Love, Loss and What I Wore tells funny and poignant stories that all women can relate to and features a rotating cast of actors who perform in five-week cycles.

Elizabeth Edwards, the estranged wife of 2004 vice presidential candidate John Edwards, has lost her battle with cancer at the age of 61.

Elizabeth was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2004, shortly after her husband lost the bid for vice presidency.

She passed away in her home today (December 7) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina surrounded by her family.

In a statement, her family said “Today we have lost the comfort of Elizabeth’s presence but she remains the heart of this family. We love her and will never know anyone more inspiring or full of life.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Edwards family.

Blake Lively is set to star in a new ad campaign for Chanel!

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl and Green Lantern actress recently traveled to Paris to shoot a campaign for the fashion house’s line of handbags, E!’s Marc Malkin reports. Ads will reportedly launch early next year!

Back in July, Blake sat front row at Chanel’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week.

Andy Roddick and wife Brooklyn Decker hit the red carpet at the Andy Roddick Foundation Charity Gala held at the Hilton Austin on Saturday (December 4) in Austin, Texas.

Joanna recently confessed she’s a bit worried about her character’s wardrobe. “You’re gonna put me on TV in a big white wedding dress with a 65-inch waistband? Seriously?” she told TV Guide with a laugh.
