Katie Holmes takes the mic at the National Dance Day celebration held at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday (July 30) in Valencia, Calif.

The 43-year-old musician was in town with his band, Bush, to perform at the Bowery Ballroom.

“Being on my own [as a solo artist] was good, and had a payback, but it was odd because I was used to being in a band,” Gavin said about reuniting with Bush, which will be releasing a new studio album, The Sea of Memories, Sept. 13.

As for finding how to best balance work and family life, Gavin shared, “Any parent has to be able to figure that one out … it’s major work.”

The 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzeneggar and his mom were joined by younger brother Christopher, who was recently hospitalized for a surfing accident.

Vanessa recently cut off her flowing locks to film the movie Gimme Shelter.

“I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair and then my director decided that he was going to grab the scissors, he grabs a chunk of my hair and just chops it,” she told Access Hollywood about the hair cutting process.

The 33-year-old British actor, who plays the villainous Bane, stood on top of a car while waiting for other vehicles to arrive on the scene.

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, which also stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is set to be released in July 2012.

In a recent interview at Comic-Con 2011, Tom said he was not allowed to talk about the film, but finally admitted that “The Dark Knight Rises looks like it’s going to be an awesome, awesome movie…I saw the trailer myself and I am very excited, too.”

Identity Crisis is based on the board game of the same name and “requires players to describe a famous — or infamous — person to a partner in one word,” the Post reports.

If the show’s picked up, it could be shown by this winter.

The 36-year-old athlete, who was described as a “true icon both of sport and style” by Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design at H&M, recently inked a deal with the store to produce an undergarment line for males. The products are expected to hit stores on February 2 of next year.

“Over the past year, I've been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I'm extremely positive about what we have designed and produced,” David said in a statement.

“The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M, we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward,” he concluded.

Jeremy Irvine carries Dakota Fanning while filming their new movie, Now Is Good, on Wednesday (July 27) in Eastbourne, England.

The two co-stars filmed a scene on a bench near the picturesque Seven Sisters cliffs by the English Channel.
