Evan recently talked with a Cleveland newspaper about the first time she spoke with her The Ides of March co-star and director George Clooney.

“He calls me up and says, ‘This is George Clooney.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, right.’ I didn’t believe him. I thought someone was playing a joke,” Evan recalled about George phoning to offer her the role.

“George is amazing. He’s generous. He’s smart. He’s funny…It’s like we had known each other for years,” Evan stated.

Kate recently signed on to lend her voice to an audiobook, according to USA Today.

Kate will read Thérèse Raquin by Émile Zola. Other celebrities expected to read include Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Colin Firth, Jennifer Connelly, and more.

“You use a different part of your brain and it keeps your creative juices flowing,” Kate said in a statement.

“It is challenging, and it’s a heck of a lot of fun as well. As a listener, being able to tune out and be taken into another world, an atmosphere, an environment that is being created entirely for you by somebody else’s voice is really a wonderful, magical thing,” Kate concluded.

The film is set to be released on December 21 in North America, and in January of the new year internationally.

Here’s what the 19-year-old Three Musketeers actor had to share:

On when he started acting: “Started when I was seven. I don't remember it. I quit for a while at 10 or something. I didn't have a good experience and just wanted to relax and go to school. Then I only got back into it once I began developing an interest in production and the whole filming process - about each department - having an awareness for what was happening on set. Since then, it's been about trying to understand each individual position that goes into making a film.”

On how the remake of The Three Musketeers is different from past films: “It's a version where the musketeers are portrayed as kind of like the James Bonds of their time. They are weaponry experts and have all of these gadgets and little details; fun little things they added.”

On cities other than L.A. that he loves: “I've fallen in love with Germany and Berlin and the German lifestyle. I felt comfortable and at home. Vancouver and San Francisco. I'd love to explore New York. I've never been there for more than five days at a time, but I'd love to live there.”

NBC has pulled the plug on The Playboy Club.

The new drama, which starred Jenna Dewan, Amber Heard, and Eddie Cibrian, brought in lower than expected ratings and backlash from the Parents Television Council.

“I think there's a perception of the show that's false,” Playboy Club creator Chad Hodge said of comments that the show objectified women (via THR). “There are different brands of feminism and I don't think it should be boxed into any one version.”

Brian Williams‘ newsmagazine Rock Center will take over The Playboy Club’s spot beginning on October 31.

Before the Q&A, director Andrew Stanton showed five clips from John Carter. (Yes, Taylor was half naked and chained up in most of the clips.) It was the first time the cast - including Willem Dafoe - saw the clips with all of the special effects!

“I’m so proud of the movie,” Lynn excitedly told the audience. “We really became a family on set.”

When did things in Taylor’s career take a huge turn? “Working with Hugh Jackman on Wolverine,” he answered. “He’s been a huge supporter of my body of work.”
