Warner Bros. recently announced that Ben’s new movie, Argo, will be released September 14, 2012.

The drama, which Ben is directing and also stars in, centers around the true story about the covert CIA operation to rescue six Americans in Iran during the 1979 hostage crisis.

Arrested Development fans, your day has come!

At a panel during the New Yorker Festival, the cast and creator Mitch Hurwitz confirmed that the show will return for one more TV season before the release of the much anticipated feature film.

“Mitch Hurwitz says he plans limited Arrested Development series (9-10 eps, 1 character per ep) that would lead into movie,” Dave Itzkoff of the New York Times added.

Arrested Development originally ran from 2003 until 2006 on FOX.

Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd’s Dolphin Tale topped the box office over the weekend, bringing in an estimated $14.2 million in ticket sales.

Second place went to Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill’s Moneyball, with $12.5 million, followed by The Lion King 3D, with $11.1 million.

Finishing out the top five were Courageous and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen’s 50/50.

Just missing the top five were Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz’s Dream House and Anna Faris‘ What’s Your Number.

Director Woody Allen recently revealed he was at first hesitant about casting Rachel and Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris.

Ellen Pompeo heads to Maxfield to do some shopping on Friday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actress recently chatted with TV Guide about her future on her hit show Grey’s Anatomy.

“I was invited for eight years — that was my contract — and no one has asked me for a day more,” Ellen said. “I know [creator] Shonda Rhimes has said the show will continue, but I wouldn’t presume that they want to continue with me. You don’t get dressed for the party if you don’t have an invitation.”

“I would love the opportunity to discuss it,” Ellen said about extending her contract. “I would never turn up my nose at Grey’s. As long as the stories are honest and truthful, and Patrick [Dempsey] and I feel there is material for us to be passionate about, it still beats a 9-to-5 job any day. If I hear from the fans that they want us to keep going, then I would continue because we owe them everything.”
