LeAnn Rimes lands at LAX Airport after a quick trip out of town on Monday (October 3) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the morning, a 20-year-old motorist driving with a suspended license and suspected to be under the influence crashed into LeAnn’s home in Hidden Hills, Calif.

“To address the accident that happened in front of our home this morning, everyone is ok and safe. However, if drunk driving was involved it is terribly sad. My family could have been seriously injured and any situation where someone is drinking and driving should not be taken lightly,” the 29-year-old singer tweeted.

“Needless to say, it was a very unsettling call to receive this morning,” she added. “Thank goodness the young driver and everyone at home are ok.”

Neil Patrick Harris takes his dogs for a walk around his neighborhood on Saturday (October 1) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actor is back in town after a quick trip to Las Vegas to check out Elton John’s new show.

Evan recently told The Playlist she’d love to one day star in an action flick.

“I would totally be a superhero. I never get offered [those roles] and I never get offered comedies because people just have an idea of who I am as an actor,” she shared.

“I have a black belt in taekwondo. I can kick butt,” she added. “I wasn’t good at ballet and I was a fighter. I did it for years. I would love to do like a Ripley or a Sarah Connor, but they are few and far between.”

Angelina Jolie attends a UNHCR ceremony honoring Yemeni humanitarian aid group Society for Humanitarian Solidarity on Monday (October 3) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The 36-year-old actress was also recognized for her 10 years as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.

“I’m so grateful to the many refugee families that I have had the honor and privilege to spend the last years with. From them I’ve learned so much. I’ve learned to become a better person, a better mother,” Angelina said. “They’ve inspired me by showing me every day the unbreakable strength of the human spirit.”

Angie also called for help for refugees fleeing war-torn Somalia.

“We must not forget what is happening in this part of the world. We must not forget how desperate they are when the only alternative is to risk death at sea and put their lives in the hands of ruthless smugglers,” she told the crowd.

The 41-year-old Mike & Molly star and Emmy winner hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time over the weekend, averaging a 5.2 rating/13 share - up 4 percent from last week’s premiere with Alec Baldwin.

“I think Melissa McCarthy in the office with the balloons on SNL made me laugh harder than anything this year or decade. The stairs too,” director Judd Apatow tweeted about her sketches, while Jon Favreau wrote, “Now that’s how you host SNL.”

Amanda Knox breaks down in tears after a jury overturns her murder conviction on Monday (October 3) in Perugia, Italy.

The 24-year-old from Seattle, Wash., and her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, won their appeal after they were initially sentenced to 26 years and 25 years in jail, respectively, for the 2007 stabbing of Amanda’s roommate Meredith Kercher.

Earlier in the day, Amanda told the appellate court jury of eight Italians that she “did not do the things they said I did. I did not kill, rape or steal. I was not there.”

Amanda and Raffaele spent nearly four years in prison but both maintained their innocence in the brutal murder of the 21-year-old British student.

“We’re thankful Amanda’s nightmare is over. We’re grateful for the support we have received from all over the world,” her sister, Deanna, read in a statement after the verdict was read.
