Eddie Murphy is a top choice to host the 84th Academy Awards, Deadline reports.

The 50-year-old actor will reportedly be Oscar producer Brett Ratner’s only proposed choice at an upcoming meeting with the Academy members.

Eddie has shown interest in accepting the gig.

According to Deadline, other big stars have approached another producer of the awards show Don Mischer with interest in hosting, but Brett has his eyes on Eddie!

Brett and Eddie collaborated on the upcoming film, Tower Heist, which hits theatres this November.

Mark Ronson and Josephine de la Baume have tied the knot, according to Us Weekly!

The 36-year-old music producer and his 26-year-old model girlfriend wed on Saturday (September 3) in Aix de Provence, France.

According to the mag, Josephine wore a low-cut, custom-designed Zac Posen wedding dress with a short cropped veil, while Mark wore a red and white pin striped suit.

Guests at the wedding included Mark’s sister Samantha Ronson, Kate Moss, and Lily Allen.

The two began dating in 2009 and became engaged this past February.

The 36-year-old 30 Rock and Glee actor married his physicist beau on Saturday (September 3) on the beach, where both men wore white.

“It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastar*. Married the best man I’ve ever known” Cheyenne tweeted along with a picture of the happy couple! Zora, the family dog, was also in attendance.

Cheyenne’s rep also confirmed the happy news to JustJared.com.

Later this month, Cheyenne will “trade husbands” and play opposite Matt Bomer in an upcoming reading of Dustin Lance Black's play 8!

Gerard recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about his emotional connection to his upcoming film Machine Gun Preacher.

“She’s this badass weapons officer; she knows everything about weapons, not only hers, but all the weapons on board,” Rihanna said about her character Raikes. “It really got me into the emotion of the character. She’s a fighter. She’s a killer. She’s not afraid of anything. She likes a challenge because she can handle it.”
