Heidi Klum celebrates the launch of Heidi Klum for New Balance at Cedar Lake on Thursday (October 7) in New York City.

The 37-year-old model’s new collection will be sold exclusively on Amazon.com. “Finding and making the perfect basic is a major challenge, and I think with this collection we rose up to that challenge,” Heidi said.

“When I gave the Project Runway designers the opportunity to create a look for my collection, they thought it would be easy but soon realized how hard it is! A great basic with an interesting twist is special and catches the eye–it makes you want to turn to it in your wardrobe again and again.”

True Blood’s Marshall Allman, wearing an American Apparel V-neck sweater, Dockers pants, and Gucci shoes, digs into some books for a spread in Da Man magazine’s October/November issue.

Here’s what the 26-year-old actor had to say:

On if he’s into supernatural things like vampires and werewolves: “Truthfully? Not at all. Still not, but I am officially addicted to True Blood.”

On his first few years in Hollywood: “Well, the first time I tried waiting on a table, I spilled 13 waters on one woman. I ate my fair share of [instant] noodles and leftover spaghetti, but I was fortunate enough to book a few commercials pretty quickly upon moving to L.A. I did not have what it took to be a waiter.”

On what makes True Blood a success: “Tits and ass … I mean, incredible writing, that is well-directed, acted and edited, all set to a great soundtrack.”

On when he decided to become an actor: “At the exact point I knew I couldn’t play soccer as a viable career and did not want to starve as an artist in New York.”

The 29-year-old actress is not satisfied with her body since having her baby and talked about her insecurities to British GQ. “There’s something so amazing about having a child. My breasts are saggy, I’ve got cellulite, my hips are bigger, but I love it.”

“I don’t get it. Every actress out there is more beautiful than me. I’ve never been comfortable showing my body off like that. I used to have anxiety attacks before I did the photo shoots,” Jessica said. “I’d never worn high heels or even dresses before I did movies. I wasn’t even allowed to show my stomach in the house when I was growing up - my parents were very strict. But this is the business I’m in, and it’s made me a lot of money, so I can’t complain.”

Cougar Town has begun to hilariously mock its own title during the opening title sequence after first trying to change the title for the new season.

After the first season stopped focusing on just Courteney Cox’s character and started to become an ensemble show, show creator Bill Lawrence said that he hoped to change the title.

Now that the title has not changed, the writers have decided to mock it instead. During two of the first three episodes of the new season, the title was shown as “Still Cougar Town” and “Badly Titled Cougar Town.”

Glad to see they have a sense of humor over there at ABC!

Shia LaBeouf has shown interest in playing Karl Rove in the upcoming comedy-drama College Republicans, according to the L.A Times.

The pic follows a young Karl Rove as he vies for the position of chief college conservative with the help of his campaign manager, Lee Atwater.

If Shia takes the role in College Republicans, this would be his first lead role in a comedy feature film after getting his start in comedy on television.

The 24-year-old actor is also rumored to star in the legal thriller The Associate, based on John Grisham’s book.

Reese Witherspoon runs away as Chris Pine chases her while filming a scene for This Means War on Thursday (October 7) outside Barcelona nightclub in Vancouver, Canada.

The day before, Reese had a mini-jam session while on a break from filming. She was spotted dancing around while listening to music on her iPhone!

Chelsea Handler will soon be joining Reese, Chris and Tom Hardy in Vancouver to film scenes for the McG-directed comedy as the best friend to Reese’s character.

Universal Pictures has decided to pull the trailer of Vince Vaughn’s new movie The Dilemma after they recently came under fire for using the phrase “that’s so gay.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper slammed the pejorative use of the term, saying that he was shocked to hear it in a preview that all audiences would see.

After GLAAD expressed its concerns with the trailer, Universal decided to omit the use of the phrase in all future TV and media campaigns.

Said GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios, "The use of the word 'gay' in this trailer as a slur is unnecessary and does nothing more than send a message of intolerance about our community to viewers."

Natalie Portman attends the NYC Ballet 2010 Fall Gala at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on Thursday (October 7) in New York.

The 29-year-old actress was there to support her boyfriend, Benjamin Millepied, who is one of the principal dancers in the ballet company.

Natalie is currently garnering Oscar buzz for her performance in Black Swan, in which she plays a ballet dancer. The film opens in select theaters on December 1st!

Jennifer Garner playfully works with kids as she teams up with Frigidaire to support Save the Children on Tuesday (October 5) in New York.

The 38-year-old actress, in a Zac Posen bouquet print cocktail dress, helped kids make boxed meals for children that would otherwise go hungry this holiday season.

JJ: Battleship is your first feature film. What has that experience been like?

R: We’re not even done yet but we did the first half in Hawaii and that was such a good experience.

JJ: Do you have scenes with Alexander and Taylor?

R: Yeah, I have scenes with both. Most of the scenes are with Taylor, more than Alexander but he’s in there for some of the movie with me.

JJ: And you play a lieutenant?

R: Well now it’s a second petty officer. I’m a weapons officer so I’m pretty much a badass. And I basically control and know every weapon on the ship, so it’s a really cool part.

JJ: Is your character good or bad?

R: Good, of course! Bad would be fun too but for this it made sense. We’re in the Navy. We can only be good.

JJ: Are there mostly action scenes you’re in or are you in any love scenes?

R: There are action scenes, no love scenes. There’s no tolerance for flirtation from guys or any of that stuff. It’s just strictly business!

JJ: And what are Taylor and Alexander like? What was it like working with them?

R: Taylor is another badass. He’s like tearhead kind of badass.

JJ: Tearhead?

R: Yeah! In Barbados we say tearhead meaning psychotic. In the movie, he’s extreme. He gets a thrill out of dares and doing impossible things that could get him hurt. He likes a challenge and so he’s a badass. There’s also that little lunatic part that comes out of him.

JJ: Speaking of weapons, when you were in Hawaii you were pictured with a gun tattoo on your leg…

R: Oh that’s not real. That was for the movie. No, hell no! Can you imagine? The tattoo is a gun with some dates, which represent when some soldiers friends died.

JJ: Do you know people who served in wars? Have you ever visited any army bases around the world?

R: When we were preparing for this movie, I had to do a lot of research. I ended up boarding a destroyer [warship] in San Diego. We filmed a lot of the film in Pearl Harbor itself, so just being there was a really crazy moment for us. And being on board the U.S.S. Missouri, it really blows your mind that you’re there on the actual ship that this stuff happened on years ago.

We actually got to meet the guy who’s in the movie. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He lost both of his legs and he’s in a wheelchair. He has prosthetic legs but he has such a great spirit and it just breaks your heart. You just want to help them, help their families and it really brings, it really makes your job feel like s–t. Really. You know? We’re here in this glamorous world. There’s people out there keeping us alive, you know, and [sacrificing] their lives doing it. It puts a lot [of things] into perspective when you really get to talk to those guys.

JJ: You’re going to be in New York City for Halloween. Do you have any ideas for costumes yet?

R: No! Everybody’s dressing as me so I don't know who the hell am I going to dress as. I don’t know. I’ll probably just wear a lot of sequins. (Rihanna will be performing on Saturday Night Live that weekend. Mad Men’s Jon Hamm will be hosting!)

JJ: What was the last date you and Matt [Kemp] went on?

R: The last night I saw him was the night we went out for his birthday party. He had to leave the next day after his game to go out of town with the team but it was so much fun. All of his friends were there. He was surprised because he thought we were going to the club and they gave us such a beautiful room and it was just all his friends, all my friends, people that he hadn't seen in years. It was a great moment.

JJ: You guys went go-karting recently too?

R: That was two days earlier. Yeah we went go-karting earlier in the week on his and my day off. It was like 20 of us and it was so much fun!

JJ: What’s the most romantic thing Matt has done for you?

R: Secret!!!! (laughs) Plus I have to think about that.
