At one point, Violet appeared sad and upset, but after a mother-daughter chat off the field, she seemed to cheer up!

On Thursday, Jen attended Variety’s 2nd Annual Power of Women Luncheon, where she was recognized for her work with Save the Children, which works to create positive, lasting change for disadvantaged kids.

Shontelle swaps her usual ballads for a more club-worthy beat in the video for her latest single “Perfect Nightmare.”

In the Colin Tilley-directed video, which was produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the 24-year-old R&B singer struggles to leave her boxer boyfriend.

“I just wanted to do a single that would be more up-tempo because most people know me for ballads. I want y’all to know I’m a party girl. So ‘Perfect Nightmare’ did just that perfectly,” Shontelle told Neon Limelight about the single off her second studio album, No Gravity.

The recent suicide of Rutgers University Student Tyler Clementi, who was allegedly the victim of anti-gay bullying, has sparked Hollywood to react strongly.

“Something must be done,” says Ellen DeGeneres. “This needs to be a wake-up call to everyone: teenage bullying and teasing is an epidemic in this country, and the death rate is climbing.

Here’s what some other stars had to say. They spoke with MTV, which launched the Love Is Louder campaign to raise awareness about the issue:

Nicki Minaj: “I would encourage my gay fans to be fighters and to be brave. People face difficulties, no matter who you are. I know that suicide is never the answer and I know that things always get better. So I’m supporting you guys. I love you very, very much and for the people who don’t love you, they need help.”

Neil Patrick Harris: “If you’re getting bullied and feeling like you’re on the outskirts, it gets better. Because, when you get older, you find that people are actually drawn to individuals with different points of view who are proud of who they are and who make interesting and different and unique choices for them — at least I am.”

Lance Bass: “I was really shocked [by Tyler's death] — so many suicides so recently. You know the school year has just begun, so that obviously has something to do with it. It makes me so sad. It’s an unnecessary thing to do.”

It’s a mini Alpha Dog reunion!

Justin Timberlake, Olivia Wilde, and Amanda Seyfried, who all starred in the 2006 crime drama, are teaming up again for a yet-to-be titled thriller.

Justin will be playing a rebel falsely accused of murder who goes on the run with a hostage (Seyfried), reports The Wrap.

Even though Olivia, 26, is three years younger than Justin, she’ll be playing his mother!

The synopsis: the characters live in a society where aging stops at 25 and time has become the form of currency. The rich are immortal, but the rest struggle to stay alive.

Cillian Murphy (Inception, Batman Begins) and Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser, who was also in Alpha Dog, have been cast in the movie as well.

Emma Stone will receive the the role of Mary Jane Watson in the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.

According to Deadline, the 21-year-old redheaded beauty (Zombieland, Easy A) will play the love interest of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) — if she accepts. And of course she should!

FYI: Spidey's love interest was played by Kirsten Dunst in the previous three movies.

So far, contenders for the role of Gwen Stacy (portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard in the previous movie) are Glee’s Dianna Agron, Alice in Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott. Gwen is the first love interest of the high school-aged Peter Parker.

Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jason Trawick, pick up some Play-Doh and Disney toys for her sons at Toys-R-Us on Saturday (October 2) in Woodland Hills, Calif.

It looks like the pop princess may have gotten some neck tattoos. Do you think they’re permanent?? Jason has a few tatoos already, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Brit’s are real. One of them looks like a flower…

Julianne Moore makes it a family affair at the opening night of “Freckleface Strawberry The Musical” at New World Stages on Friday (October 1) in New York City.

The 49-year-old actress brought along her director husband Bart Freundlich and their two kids, Caleb, 12, and Liv, 8.

The off Broadway show is based on Julianne’s New York Times best selling book.

It tells the story of a young girl who's ashamed of her freckles but learns that everyone's differences make them special thanks to her schoolmates.

The 38-year-old burlesque dancer has been making the rounds at Paris Fashion Week. The day before, she hit up the Lanvin show, along with Janet Jackson and rocker Lenny Kravitz.

Dita recently tweeted, “Beth Ditto (from the indie rock band Gossip) & I just agreed that ‘is that a wig?’ is the finest compliment one can bestow on our hair.”

Darren is the cast’s latest member. He’ll be playing Blaine, a charismatic gay student from a rival glee club, the Dalton Academy Warblers.

“He sort of becomes Kurt’s mentor and then maybe love,” hints Ryan. “He had to leave his own school because of bullying … so Kurt really admires and respects him.”

Brittany Snow hits the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at LA’s Paramount Studios on Friday (October 1).

The 24-year-old actress proudly showed off the ink on her hand: Love Is Louder - the name of a campaign she recently launched with MTV to spread hope to teens who are being bullied.

“Love Is Louder is a movement that is hopefully going to bring some awareness and make some noise when it comes to teens who are feeling suicidal or even just sad, outcasts, and being bullied, and really feel like they have nowhere to turn to,” says Brittany, referencing the death of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi. “It’s a place where people who have been through it can support them and share their stories, [so they will know] that they’re not alone.”
