Chelsea Handler hosts the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

“My plan was to stay sober the entire show,” the 35-year-old comedienne joked. “But in an interesting twist, I am as high as a kite. That’s the last time I do a prayer circle with Snoop Dogg.”

Later in the evening, Chelsea joined the cast of Jersey Shore in a hot tub. When she climbed out of the tub, Chelsea had spontaneously grown a baby bump!

HOW DO YOU THINK Chelsea did as a first-time host of the VMAs? She was the first woman to host the show since Roseanne Barr in 1994!

Chris Pine hits the stage with Unstoppable co-star Rosario Dawson at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

The twosome introduced Taylor Swift’s performance, which was basically a forgiveness song written to Kanye West.

Unstoppable, which also stars Denzel Washington, opens everywhere on November 12.

Kanye West suits up in red and performs his new song “Runaway” at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

“You’ve been putting up with my s–– for way too long,” the 33-year-old rapped. “Let’s have a toast for the douchebags. Let’s have a toast for the a——s. Let’s have a toast for the scumbags. Let’s have a toast for the jerk—s. Baby, I got a plan. Run away fast as you can.”

Glee cast members Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer present the award for Best Pop Video at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

The award went to Lady Gaga who took a while to get to the stage because she didn’t realize how heavy her dress would be!

The 24-year-old singer alluded to her new album title in her acceptance speech, thanking MTV for not making her change her video. “I refused,” she said, “because we were BORN THIS WAY, BABY!”

While in her meat dress, Gaga announced that her new album will be titled Born This Way.

Taylor Swift performs her new song “Innocent” during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old country star sang poignant words of forgiveness referring to Kanye West’s infamous VMA interruption from the 2009 MTV VMAs. (The song will be on Taylor’s upcoming album, Speak Now.)

“Who you are is not what you did,” sang Taylor,who wore a D&G dress. “32 is still growing up now … you’re still an innocent.”

She continued, “It’s all right, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. You’re still an innocent.” Video below!

Lady Gaga announced the name of her album, Born This Way!!!

The 25-year-old singer made the announcement while accepting the award for Video of the Year for “Bad Romance.” Gaga then sang to the audience, giving fans a sneak peek performance from her new album.

Here’s a snippet of the lyrics to her new song: “How beautiful in my way cuz God makes no mistakes. I’m on the right track. Baby, I was born this way.”
