The 28-year-old tennis champ was recently awarded the 2009 WTA Tour Player of the Year award in addition to Doubles Team of the year with her sister Venus Williams.

“It’s exciting because I don’t think we’ve won the Doubles Team of the Year award before,” Serena told The Associated Press. “I won the daily double today and that was cool.”

Katie Holmes makes it a business day as she attends a meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 25).

The 31-year-old actress may be joining Al Pacino, Channing Tatum, and Ray Liotta for a new cop drama called Son of No One.

According to the LA Times, Katie is currently negotiating to join the film where she’ll play the wife of a young policeman played by Channing.

The movie revolves around a young cop who is assigned to his old neighborhood where a secret threatens to jeopardize his life and family.

Jennifer Aniston gets dropped off at the airport to catch a flight on Thursday (March 25) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old Emmy Award winning actress has been busy working on her new film Just Go With It, starring funny man Adam Sandler.

Late last year, it was announced that Jen will be starring and producing a film, Goree Girls, about a group of female prison inmates from the 1940s who start a country western band.

MTV recently caught up with the actress to discuss where the film currently stands.

“We’re still doing it, it’s going through a rewrite and it should be happening sometime next year,” Jen told MTV “I’m still trying to figure out where in my schedule to find its little spot.”

JJ: So you’re dancing tonight! What are you most excited about?
LM: I’m excited about the opening number - I’ll be doing a magic trick! It’ll be the first time on-stage for me on America’s Best Dance Crew! It should be very interesting. Hope the viewers love it! I got a chance to see how hard these crews work and I actually got to be a part of it. So it was like……woah.
JJ: What’s been the highlight of ABDC for you since season 1?
LM: When Super Cr3w built a tower with two people stacked on top of each other and made forward rolls right after standing on top of each other! It was incredible!

JJ: Being the rookie this year, what has surprised you the most getting behind the judging table
O: The hardest thing is that it’s really hard to judge. What I mean is when you have the crowd there and they don’t know the ins and outs of what we look at, it’s tough. The crowds has its favorite , but there’s a lot of strategic thought process that goes into judging. When you say something bad - here come the boos!
JJ: Has any performance stood out to you this season yet?
O: BluePrint Crew before the Lady GaGa show - I really enjoyed that performance!

The 28-year-old actress recently helped launch a digital campaign backing a the Robin Hood Tax campaign in the UK.

The tax would only count on transactions between financial institutions, according to the UKPA. Tax would start at five pence for every thousand pounds traded.

“A tiny 0.05 per cent tax on bankers could raise billions for public services and tackle poverty and climate change at home and abroad - small change for the banks can mean big changes for the world,” Sienna said.

The video is based on the short story “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge,” written by Ambrose Bierce in 1890.

“This particular version was just a bit too intense for the folks over at Yahoo’s Standards and Practices department,” Babybird’s label, Unison, wrote on their YouTube page. “However, we believe that this version gives the viewer the true vision intended by both the artist and director.”

Governor Sarah Palin has signed off on a new eight-part documentary series about herself and her home state of Alaska. Slated to premiere on TLC, the series will be executive produced by Mark Burnett of Survivor and Apprentice fame.

“Discovery Communications is so excited to help Sarah Palin tell the story of Alaska, and to have a great documentary filmmaker in Mark Burnett helping to reveal Alaska’s powerful beauty as it has never been filmed, and as told by one of the state’s proudest daughters,” said Peter Liguori, Chief Operating Officer, Discovery Communications.

Adds Palin, “Our family enjoys Discovery’s networks. I look forward to working with Mark to bring the wonder and majesty of Alaska to all Americans.”

Palin will reportedly rake in a whopping $1 million per episode for the series.
