Emile Hirsch and co-star Lupe Fiasco attend the premiere screening of their new documentary, Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro at NYC’s Tribeca Grand Hotel on Wednesday (March 10) in New York City.

At the event hosted by Kenna & Momentum Worldwide, Emile shared about the little snafu he had climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

“I had an ingrown hair in (whispers) my groin, so I couldn’t walk!” the 24-year-old actor exclusively told JustJared.com. “I don’t like to talk about it because it got infected, there was pus and it was nasty. There was a 90% chance they would have had to medevac me out of there but thankfully my condition improved and I finished the climb.”

Emile’s condition is briefly mentioned in Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro, which raises awareness about the clean-water crisis. It airs this Sunday (March 14) at 9PM ET on MTV. Tune in because Lupe is hilarious in it!!!

Anna Paquin is all smiles as she leaves Lemonade restaurant on Thursday (March 11) in Venice, Calif.

The 27-year-old True Blood actress, who grabbed lunch with fiance and co-star Stephen Moyer, was cracking up as she looked at something on her cell phone on the way out.

Stephen recently told People that he misses working with Anna on the show! “We haven’t been working together that much this year and I kind of miss that,” he said. “We met doing something that we love and that’s what we do.”

Jessica Simpson strikes a pose in L’Wren Scott at NYC’s Ed Sullivan theater before making an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman on Wednesday (March 10).

Later in the evening, the 29-year-old star performed an acoustic iheartradio concert at NYC’s P.C. Richard and Son theater. Here’s what she shared during the event:

On dealing with privacy as a celebrity: "When it comes to privacy, I would love to have it where I could control it, but I wouldn't give up my purpose in life. I can't say I'd take it away for my privacy… I hope I don't die alone… So hopefully I can find a man that understands my life and my purpose."

On her mom Tina's influence of eating and beauty habits growing up: "Growing up in Texas for me, fish was a fish stick. We weren't really the healthiest of people. [My mom] didn't force me to eat healthy. She did have an opinion on what I was wearing. But my mom has always made me feel confident."

On John Mayer and relationships: "In John's case I think he was trying to make a joke, but it wasn't a joke. I dint't except it. I really find it very disappointing. Those are intimate details you don't want the world to know. He gave away my game! I'm like the good girl and then bad girl sometimes! Maybe in his mind he was thinking about giving me a compliment but he wasn't. In relationships, in general, going through a divorce and going through very public break-ups — they’re extremely hard and you don't want to disappoint people who are rooting for you to be successful in love. I just have to find the right man, and if the world is along for the ride, they're along for the ride. But I still have to live me life."

The day after, the 37-year-old actress presented basketball legend Dikembe Mutombo with the prestigious Sport for Good Award during the Laureus World Sports Awards 2010 at Emirates Palace Hotel on in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

"It feels great to receive such a prestigious award from such a distinguished group of former athletes who recognize the difference you've made and your service to the community," said Dikembe. "This is as big as it gets. I'm happy that my foundation is being recognized. This gives me more courage to continue to do what I do."

Katherine Heigl has been finally let go from Grey’s Anatomy by series creator Shonda Rhimes, reports EW. Here’s the latest from Michael Ausiello:

– Heigl’s exit isn’t finalized as ABC Studios and Heigl's reps still have to come to an agreement.

– Heigl was scheduled to return to the Grey's set on March 1 to begin work on the five remaining episodes of the season [but] March 1 came and went and there was no Heigl.

– As of today, Heigl is without a publicist.

– Heigl is not expected to return to the Grey's set, which means her final episode as Izzie has already aired.

With hair curlers hanging in her hair, Sharon Stone gets silly with paparazzi while filming new episodes for Law & Order: SVU in New York City on Thursday (March 11).

The 52-year-old actress, who wore a North Face vest to keep warm, will star in a four-episode arc beginning in April.

“It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon’s wattage and importance joining SVU,” show creator/executive producer Dick Wolf has said.

Reese Witherspoon goes strapless in Jason Wu at the Vital Voices 2010 Global Leadership Awards at The Kennedy Center on Wednesday (March 10) in Washington, D.C.

The 33-year-old star jokingly complained that her Legally Blonde character Elle Woods is no longer the most stylish woman in Washington. She shared, “As an actress, I have always sought out roles that portrayed women as strong and powerful, such as Elle Woods, who was in the Legally Blonde movies. [Elle] happened to be the biggest fashionista who ever came to Washington until Michelle Obama. Thanks a lot.”

Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman will hit the big screen together in The Change-Up, a body-switching comedy written by the screenwriters of The Hangover!

The story is about “a responsible family man (Bateman) who switches bodies with his best friend, a lazy man-child (Reynolds),” according to Variety.

Ryan has a busy year ahead of him - he recently signed on to lend his voice to The Croods with Nicolas Cage and will star opposite Anna Faris in the forthcoming film TMI.

Jason will star opposite Jennifer Aniston this August in The Switch, formerly entitled The Baster!

A solo Katie Holmes heads to lunch at E. Baldi restaurant on Thursday afternoon (March 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

A few weeks ago, Katie, her husband Tom Cruise, and Sumner Redstone enjoyed dinner at Tanino's in Westwood to celebrate Tom's return to Paramount and the Mission Impossible series. Sumner had fired Tom in 2006 after he jumped on Oprah Winfrey’s couch.

And just last week, Tom and Sumner (with girlfriend Christine Peters) dined at Il Piccolino in Beverly Hills.

Ryan Gosling may not be vegetarian, but that’s not stopping him from ruffling feathers at McDonald’s over the company’s outdated chicken-slaughter practices. The 29-year-old Canadian actor has just fired off a letter on behalf of PETA to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner. Check it:

“Dear Mr. Skinner, I was shocked to learn from my friends at PETA that McDonald’s, a company that claims to be an industry leader in animal welfare, still allows its suppliers to use an outdated chicken slaughter method that results in broken wings and legs and causes birds to be scalded to death in defeathering tanks.

“Many of McDonald’s suppliers in Europe already use a much more humane slaughter method that eliminates the worst cruelty. What’s your excuse?

“Because no federal laws govern the treatment of chickens during slaughter, the responsibility lies in your company’s hands to create and maintain a high standard of animal welfare. I hope you will agree that the time has come for McDonald’s to truly take action to reduce the suffering of chickens killed for its restaurants. I look forward to hearing your decision. Thank you. Sincerely, Ryan Gosling.”

In 2008, Ryan wrote a similar letter to the largest franchisee of KFC’s in Canada asking the company to update to the more humane, modern methods; just days later, the company that coordinates the purchase of chicken for all Canadian KFCs agreed to phase in the purchase of 100 percent of chicken from suppliers that use these methods.

Amy Winehouse is launching a clothing collection in collaboration with British label Fred Perry, to make its debut in stores in October.

"Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand," Richard Martin, Fred Perry's marketing director, told WWD. "Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand's own historical reference points."
