LeBron will be joining fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh down in South Beach to create a “superteam”.

The 25-year-old Ohio-born native will be leaving his hometown of Akron and disappointing Cavalier fans. During the broadcast, a Lebron James jersey was burned in Cleveland, to which he responded, “I can’t get involved in that. One thing I didn’t want to do was make an emotional decision. I wanted to do what was best for LeBron James.”

The Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets, along with their respective fans, were also all let down after learning of Lebron’s decision.

Proceeds of $2.5 million from tonight’s hour-long program will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner enjoy a date night together at Las Palmas in los Angeles on Wednesday night (July 7).

Avril, 25, and Brody, 26, spent quality time over dinner and drinks. Brody showed off his new ink of Avril’s name on his left arm.

According to TMZ, Avril has a tattoo of Brody’s name somewhere on her torso. The couple reportedly already has matching lighting bolt tattoos. Brody has his tattoo under his ear while Avril has hers on her wrist.

Shakira gets playful with a lion cub at The Lion Park in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday (July 8).

The 33-year-old Colombian singer played with a brown cub and white lion at the popular tourist attraction.

Shakira is in town to perform at the World Cup closing ceremony on Sunday. The ceremony will follow the final match between Spain and Netherlands and will be held at the city’s Soccer City Stadium.

The 88-year-old Hot In Cleveland actress and Saturday Night Live host can now add pin-up girl to her resume.

According to USA Today, the calendar features Betty posing with more shirtless hunks in addition to cute animals. All proceeds from the calenders will go to the Morris Animal Foundation where Betty currently serves as a trustee.

The foundation helps advance health and welfare research for animals and wildlife worldwide.

Adam Brody loosens up his buttons from his police uniform after filming scenes for Scream 4 on Wednesday (July 7) in Detroit, Mich.

The 30-year-old actor, who wore a deputy ID badge reading “Hoss,” joins actors including Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts and scream alums Courteney Cox and David Arquette in the latest installment of the franchise. The film is set ten years after Scream 3 took place!

Scream 4 is expected to hit theaters in April of 2011!

Olivia Munn signs copies of her new book “Suck It, Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek” at Borders bookstore in Columbus Circle, New York City on Wednesday (July 7).

Olivia shared what she hopes people will get out of her new book.

Jennifer Aniston possibly has a new furry friend - a rescued cockapoo puppy!

The 41-year-old actress reportedly found her new dog at Saving Spot!, a Los Angeles nonprofit dog rescue program. Jen reportedly brought the pup home “because she fell in love with her acting coach’s dog,” a source told Us Weekly.

Jen has two dogs at home already - Norman, a 15-year-old corgi/terrier mix, and Dolly, a four-year-old white shepherd.

Leighton Meester and Blake Lively are back on the set of Gossip Girl for their third day of filming on Wednesday (July 7) at Paris’ Musee Baccarat.

The girls have split their time in Paris between work and play, filming scenes around the city and catching the previews of the latest trends during Paris Fashion Week. Leighton and Blake checked out Chanel’s newest collection on Tuesday.

Blake also sat front row at the Christian Dior show next to Anna Wintour!

The 39-year-old entertainer has sold over 50 million records, won six Grammy Awards and has released seven multi-platinum records, but the next thing she’s gunning for is a bachelor’s degree!

While chatting with the hosts of Good Morning America last week, Mary mentioned that she’s planning to go back to school and will be joining Howard University’s class of 2014. Mary has since then confirmed the news, stating, “the city of New York gave me my high school diploma … and now Howard University has accepted me.”

Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, will no longer serve as Lindsay’s counsel.

TMZ reports that Lindsay will be represented by Tiffany Feder-Cohen, a lawyer admitted to the bar in November of 2009.

Earlier today, Shawn released a statement to JustJared.com. Check it:

“Ms. Lohan and I are extremely disappointed in the sentence handed down by Judge Revel. We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances.

“The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments with court requirements. To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair. That said, Ms. Lohan is prepared to serve her jail time and to comply with the Court’s orders.”

“With respect to Ms. Lohan’s nails, the fact is, the words could barely be seen by the naked eye. That a courtroom camera, purportedly there to accurately chronicle the proceedings, would use a telephoto lens to zoom in as it did to Ms. Lohan’s fingernail is a commentary on the entire issue.”

According to Collider, Orlando is seeking to play the lead part in a remake of a 1970s British police drama The Sweeney. Other actors also vying for the role include Daniel Craig, Ewan Mcgregor, and Tom Hardy.

The 34-year-old Irish actor plays Bobby Pellitt, a ruthless boss who makes life miserable for his employees.

The new comedy also stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Jamie Foxx and the newest cast member Kevin Spacey. The film revolves around three friends who conspire to murder their bosses.
