Freida Pinto (in Oscar de la Renta) and Dev Patel walk the red carpet of Dev’s new film The Last Airbender at Alice Tully Hall in NYC on Wednesday (June 30).

Dev told People that he had to assure his mother that he was not engaged after she read reports on the internet that he popped the question to Freida.

The Last Airbender, out in theaters July 1, is about 12-year-old Aang (Noah Ringer), an Airbender, who discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Dev plays Prince Zuko, who is ordered to capture the Avatar.

David Duchovny is set to make his stage debut in an Off-Broadway play by Neil LaBute this October!

The 49-year-old Californication actor will star in The Break of Noon, about a man who “amidst the chaos and horror of the worst office shooting in American history, sees the face of God,” setting off a “maelstrom of disbelief among everyone he knows,” according to the New York Times.

Californication is currently filming its fourth season, which is scheduled to begin airing on September 11!

Angelina Jolie attends a photo call for her much-anticipated thriller Salt held at Summer of Sony in Cancun, Mexico on Wednesday (June 30).

The 35-year-old actress was joined by co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor and director Philip Noyce at the event. Salt will be released in theaters on July 23!

On Monday (June 28), Angie took her daughters Shiloh and Zahara to a party in Culver City, Calif.

Although Renee, 41, and Bradley, 35, have been dating since 2009, the couple tried throwing off the paparazzi by walking out of the hotel with a distance between them.

Recently, THR reported that M. Night Shyamalan is already thinking about his next film - and Bradley is “loosely attached” to the project!

Possible co-stars for Bradley are Bruce Willis and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Fonzworth Bentley and his girlfriend, Faune Chambers, are engaged!

The 36-year-old singer and From G’s to Gents star proposed to Faune, 33, who co-starred with Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, back in December near Atlanta, Us Weekly reports.

“She said yes and I was so excited,” Fonzworth said. “Afterward, she kept wanting to call and tell her mother and I told her not to - because then we walked into a restaurant where my parents and her parents were waiting. We all had lunch and then I walked them all back to show them where I proposed.”

The wedding is “pretty soon,” he adds.

Back in April, shirtless photos of Kris Allen vacationing at the Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas popped up online.

“I was pretty upset. It was like, ‘Seriously?’” the 25-year-old American Idol vet told MTV. “I knew it was probably going to happen. We’re in Atlantis, which is not the most secret place in the world. And we were trying to have a good time. People weren’t bothering us, but apparently they were taking sneaky pictures and selling them to the tabloids. I don’t know what they got off them, but I would like a cut!”

“I’m so glad I didn’t make those photos,” Kris’ drummer, Ryland Steen, added. “I think just my elbow was in one of them.”

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse broke previous midnight box office records by raking in $30 million on its first night.

According to Variety, the previous all-time grossing film for midnight runs was New Moon which made $26.3 million.

The film, which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, opened in over 4,000 U.S. locations and will expand to 4,416 today. This breaks yet another record making the film the widest domestic release in Hollywood history. The previous record was held by Iron Man 2 which was released earlier this year.

The happy couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by dining on Mediterranean food together at the romantic restaurant. Ben and Jen married on a beach in the Caribbean back in 2005 in a small and private ceremony.

Elijah Wood is set to hit the small screen in a remake of the Australian sitcom Wilfred.

The 29-year-old actor will star in the FX show opposite a female character and a mixed-breed dog named Wilfred.

Family Guy alum David Zuckerman, who’s adapting the show for American audiences, told EW that Wilfred is "part Labrador retriever and part Russell Crowe on a bender."
