Synopsis: In the year 2024, all of Europe is united by a vast web of underground railways, populated by an army of downtrodden worker bees. When one such cog starts hearing voices and encounters a femme fatale shampoo model who seems to hold some answers, he finds himself unearthing a vast Orwellian conspiracy in this visually arresting animated noir.

Carrie Underwood set a new record at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 18) as the first female to be named Entertainer of the Year twice!

The 27-year-old country cutie also took home the Triple Crown Award, a special honor for winning Top New Vocalist of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year!

Three-piece band Lady Antebellum took home five trophies last night including Song of the Year, Single Record of Year and Best Vocal Group!

“Thank you [fiance Mike Fisher], I love you so much! Mom, my sister, my family…the fans! God bless you so much! Thank you, country music!” Carrie said in her speech as she accepted her award.

After being spotted at a gay club in New York City this weekend, David Archuleta has turned to his Twitter to clarify the situation!

“Last night in New York I got invited to go and see my friend Charice perform. Mental note to self: always ask where before you go! Wasn’t my kind of place lol, and I had no clue! I guess you live and learn. The upside was that Charice was awesome, and she has an incredible voice.”

“Hope that clears things up!” David concluded. “Been seeing some of the tweets.. sheesh!”

Charice backed David up, tweeting, “[B]ottomline, David just showed his support for me. and i wanna thank [him] for doing that.”

Penelope Cruz gets close with Meryl Streep on the cover of this month’s Vogue Paris magazine.

“Editing French Vogue has been an amazing adventure,” the 35-year-old actress tells JustJared.com. “I’m grateful to the magazine for giving me so much freedom and to the incredible actresses that joined me in this issue to celebrate the amazing work that (RED) is doing for Africa… I’m extremely grateful to all of them, to Bono and to everyone who has helped us to make this issue possible.”

The 34-year-old Mad Men actress penned an article to men, giving tips about what she thinks women love and hate. Here are some excerpts:

– Remember what we like. When I first started dating my husband, I had this weird fascination with the circus and clowns and old carnival things and sideshow freaks and all that. About a month after we started dating, he bought me this amazing black-and-white photo book on the circus in the 1930s, and I started sobbing. Which freaked him out. I thought, Oh, my God, I mentioned this three or four weeks ago and talked about it briefly, but he was really listening to me. And he actually went out and researched and found this thing for me. It was amazing.

– Panties is a wonderful word. When did you stop saying “panties”? It’s sexy. It’s girlie. It’s naughty. Say it more.

– Marriage changes very little. The only things that will get a married man laid that won’t get a single man laid are adultery and whores. Intelligence and humor (and your smell) are what get you laid. That’s what got you laid when you were single. That’s what gets you laid when you’re married. Everything still works in marriage: especially intelligence and humor. Because the sexiest thing is to know you.

Seeing double?

Tina Fey and Sheryl Crow both choose Dolce & Gabbana flowered gowns for the Matrix Awards, held Monday (April 19) in New York City.

"Probably, they reached into their closets and pulled out a version of the dress," D&G spokeswoman Brooke Pace told the New York Times. "This kind of thing happens all the time. Luckily it wasn't really the same dress.”

Tina laughed off the coincidence as former SNL co-star Seth Meyers presented her with an award.

“If you want to see what this dress looks like on a rips— surfer body, look over there,” Tina joked, pointing at Sheryl (via HuffPo). “I wear it with a sweater.”

Benjamin is the loveliest thing. He’s incredible. The love feel for him is indescribable. All I want in life is to be a good mother. Romantically Challenged, a new ABC comedy, premieres TONIGHT (April 19) after Dancing with the Stars!

The show stars Alyssa Milano as Rebecca, a newly divorced mom of two jumping back into the dating scene. Two And A Half Men’s Kelly Stables stars as Lisa, Rebecca’s sister who’s a kindergarten teacher that tries to hurt every man before he can hurt her.

Rounding the cast are Josh Lawson and Kyle Bornheimer!

“Wow,thanks for all the support of our show,” Kyle tweeted. “We’re very proud of it & really appreciate the enthusiasm. We won’t disappoint.”

Daniel Craig fans will not be happy!

Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions just announced in a press release that the next James Bond movie has been delayed indefinitely.

“Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely,” they said said in a joint statement. “We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of Bond 23.” (The film was originally set for a late 2011 or early 2012 release.)

After getting some color on himself, Cam Gigandet darts out of LA Tanning and heads to his car in Hollywood on Friday (April 16).

Earlier in the week, the 27-year-old Twilight actor celebrated his daughter’s first birthday at Toast.

Next up for Cam is the premiere of his new indie film Five Star Day, which follows the story about a man looking to disprove astrology only to lead him to bigger questions. The film will debut at the Newport Beach Film Fest on April 22.

Director Jon Favreau tells The LA Times, “[Black Widow] is not what she presents herself as, but I don’t want to say more. It’s fun to keep people guessing. Part of the comics is the mystery surrounding character and then the sexual dynamic but also the cold-blooded efficiency like the spider.”

The 25-year-old singer and 37-year-old burlesque beauty had different views on their favorite Coachella acts! Katy cited Jay-Z, tweeting “no. one. compares”.

Dita, who visited the music festival with boyfriend Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, said her favorite act was Die Antwoord.

Suri’s actual birthday was on Sunday (April 18). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SURI!!!
