Looks like the 37-year-old English martial arts actor will be celebrating the new year overseas.

Currently, Jason is wrapping up filming for action-thriller The Mechanic. The film is a remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson film where an aging hitman befriends a young man who wants to be a professional assassin.

Rihanna performs in her New Year’s party concert at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Friday (January 1).

The 21-year-old Bajan beauty rocked the crowd and shouted, “Abu Dhabi” numerous times to stir everyone up. She performed all of her hit songs, ranging from, “Don’t Stop The Music”, “Hate That I Love You”, and “SOS”, among many others. She closed out the show with her huge hit, “Umbrella”. Unfortunately, she didn’t come back out for an encore.

Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola show off their bright bikinis on Miami’s South Beach on New Year’s Eve Thursday (December 31).

Nina, 20, spoke to MTV and talked about what’s next for Vampire Diaries, saying, “My character gets into a extremely big car accident, she hits someone and you’re left hanging. You don’t know what’s going to happen, so we’re going to pick up right from there and you’re gong to see what happened and what happened after that!”

Jamie Bell goes shirtless as a Celtic slave in the new movie, Eagle of the Ninth.

According to Yahoo! Movies, the Roman epic follows a young soldier named Marcus, played by Channing Tatum, who undertakes the perilous journey to retrieve the Eagle emblem to honor his father.

The film, expected to be released in 2010, is based on a novel by Rosemary Sutcliff.

The movie, also stars Donald Sutherland, Denis O’Hare, and Mark Strong.

For 2010, 29-year-old songstress will be starring in the musical Burlesque.

Paris Hilton channels her inner snow bunny and dons all pink winter gear while shopping at Boogie’s in Aspen, Colorado on Wednesday (December 30).

The 28-year-old heiress is currently being sued over a heart-shaped insole design used in her shoe line, Paris Hilton Footwear.

New York-based Gwyneth Shoes claims that they patented the heart pad in 2007, according to the NY Post.

“I personally chose the styling, design, materials and colors for the line and also wanted to make sure it was super-comfortable!” Paris mentions on her website. “Each shoe has a heart-shaped comfort pad sewn in . . . so you can dance all night long!”

Natalie Portman looks stunning on the February 2010 cover of Elle UK magazine.

Recently, the 28-year-old actress joined George Clooney and Jeff Goldblum for celebrities who were rumored to be dead.

On Monday, the internet was abuzz when a Google search result displayed that Natalie died in a fall while shooting in New Zealand. The fake news comes on the heels of another rumor that the actress is dating Thor costar Chris Hemsworth.

A rep for Natalie confirmed that the romantic rumor wasn’t true.

Nicole Richie has been chosen as the guest judge for the upcoming season’s premiere of Project Runway!

The 28-year-old fashionista will headline the seventh season of the sew-sew reality show which airs Jan. 14 on Lifetime.

Project Runway executive producer Sara Rea shared, “Nicole is a fabulous guest judge. She has strong opinions and gives clear and specific constructive criticism to the designers. Also, she isn't afraid to disagree with the other judges!"

“I've actually written a few more songs over Christmas,” Amy told OK!. “I've been at home, been over my Mum’s, actually been knuckling down to it really.”

A spokesperson for Amy followed up saying, “It’s just not true. She won’t be checking into hospital, she has no need to.”

People reports that like Rosie, Tracy is active in “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parenting and adoption issues. She launched Open Arms Campaign, a non-profit organization to recruit and foster adoptive families that targets the LGBT community.”

On teenage angst: “I am angsty. I’ll be angsty until I’m 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you’re figuring s*** out, and I don’t know why that’s a negative thing.”

Jared Leto has lunch with a friend on the beach in Miami, Florida on Tuesday (December 29).

The actor and musician, who just turned 38 on Saturday, has been promoting his new album Thirty Seconds to Mars, This Is War.

According to the Toronto Star, the muse of the new album was their record company, EMI, which launched a $30 million lawsuit against them when the band tried to change labels.

“It was an intense time,” Jared shared. “Not just in our world and our battle with our record company, but the entire world went through this and is still going through this historically brutal time; I’m talking about the financial crisis, the housing meltdown, the climate challenges …”

Dakota Fanning shares some laughs with Andy Garcia’s daughters after watching Avatar at ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood on Tuesday (December 29).

Earlier in the day, the 15-year-old New Moon actress worked out with one of the Garcia daughters, Alessandra Garcia-Lorido.
