True Grit’s Hailee Steinfeld chats with ET Canada about her Oscar nomination and year of stardom and success.

Here’s what the 14-year-old actress had to share:

On how she found out about her Oscar nod: “I was asleep and I woke up to my parents screaming in the other room and they had the TV turned up really loud so I heard the announcement.”

On her initial reaction to the nomination: “I was really hoping for True Grit overall and it’s really overwhelming. I have to admit I am in shock. Just a year ago I was auditioning for the role and thinking to myself, whoever gets this is like winning the lottery. To me, that right there is just such a huge award and with this coming with it, it’s so surreal … It freaks me out to think it’s all happened in a year. It’s so rare.”

On her last acting gig: “Before True Grit, I actually filmed a Nickelodeon pilot called Summer Camp. It’s kind of interesting because after I filmed that, we were going to find out whether it got picked up or not. That was the same time I was going to find out if I got True Grit or not. So it was kind of like two different routes and wondering where I was going to go.”

On being rumored to be considered for The Hunger Games: “Woo! I am a fan. I’m reading the books right now. They’re amazing. Yeah [I'd do it]!”

Sandra Bullock braves the cold weather in some workout gear to go to the gym on Friday (February 4) in New York.

The day before, the 46-year-old actress went to the gym and later grabbed some groceries from Whole Foods.

Sandra is currently making NYC her home while she films her next movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close alongside Tom Hanks.

Jude Law is all smiles while walking around Primrose Hill on Friday (February 4) in London, England.

The 38-year-old British actor ran some errands with a guy pal and stopped to chat and give a hug to an older man.

In addition to filming the Sherlock Holmes sequel, Jude will be lending his voice for the upcoming animated flick Rise of the Guardians.

The all-star cast also includes Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, and Isla Fisher.

The movie, expected to hit theaters November 2012, is based on the children’s book series The Guardians of Childhood.

Jessica Simpson leaves Napa Valley Grille after having lunch with fiance Eric Johnson on Friday (January 4) in Westwood, Calif.

The couple recently returned from a quick getaway outside Los Angeles.

“Had a wonderful and relaxing time in Santa Barbara with this sexy man XO,” Jess, 30, tweeted along with a photo of her NFL player beau.

Jessica also took to her Twitter page to address reports that she was going to be part of the American version of X-Factor.

“Just to clear up a rumor…I am NOT going to judge X Factor!!! I don’t even know where that info came from,” Jess tweeted.

The 24-year-old actress is in town filming her latest movie, Friends with Kids, along with Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig, which is written and directed by Jon’s longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt.

Megan will also be working on The Crossing, in which she’ll play a wife who has to smuggle drugs across the U.S.-Mexico border in order to save her kidnapped husband.

Last week, Just Jared had the pleasure of stopping by the L.A. studio of super producers Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and Max Martin, who are executive producing Britney Spears‘ upcoming album, Femme Fatale.

Our heart was dancing as we heard more than half a dozen demos produced by Luke, Max, and their frequent collaborators Ammo and Benny Blanco.

Our favorite song was, not surprisingly, a dance song pop phenom Ke$ha wrote for Britney called “Till the World Ends” (produced by Luke, Max, and Billboard).

It’s one irresistibly catchy tune that, if it makes the album, will be an instant smash. In fact, we still have the tune stuck in our head - and we can’t get it out. It’s “TiK ToK” all over again!

Eva Amurri is lending her voice to an upcoming episode of the Disney Channel’s Fish Hooks!

The 25-year-old actress will star as Bleak Molly, a goth fish, in an episode airing on Friday (February 4) at 8:30 PM ET!

“Becoming an animated character, especially a Disney character, has always been a dream of mine, and I was so thrilled to get to be a part of Fish Hooks!” Eva shared.

“The show is hilarious and my character, Bleak Molly, was so fun to play. She’s the school goth chick, and she has a killer haircut…especially for a fish,” Eva added.

A small rural town is slowly fading away as the industries it once relied on have turned to dust, leaving empty, vacant warehouses across the landscape. But when a stranger, Mr. Gus Leroy (Firth), comes to town with an offer to rent one of Georgina's warehouses and the promise of a new business venture that will turn things around, the residents are intrigued and excited. As they embrace the newcomer, he becomes involved in their professional and personal lives in a way none of them expected, especially after they discover that Leroy's business could put them all in danger.

Lauren Conrad won’t be returning to reality TV just yet. Her upcoming show on MTV has been pulled, she tells The Hollywood Reporter.

"We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result," Lauren, 25, said. "MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life.”

“We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn't feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it,” she added in the statement.

David Janollari, Head of Programming for MTV, told EW, "It was a great attempt but it just didn't feel like a perfect fit for us now."

The category for the top ten is “Top 10 Reasons It’s Fun to Be Justin Bieber.”

The reasons include: “When I’m sick, my doctor makes hilarious jokes about ‘Bieber Fever,’” “The chance to visit the Late Show and my idol, Paul Shaffer,” and “At the barber shop I can say, ‘Give me the me.’”

Zac Efron reportedly cozied up to Australian actress Teresa Palmer at a reception for her new film Take Me Out Tonight on Thursday (February 3) in Los Angeles.

According to E!, the 23-year-old actor and Teresa, 24, drank and chatted together before heading over to Voyeur nightclub in West Hollywood, Calif.

“They got there a little after midnight,” a source revealed. “They were at a VIP table…They were dancing, standing up by the table and dancing. They all took tequila shots together. He was grabbing her butt and doing very suggestive dancing. Then they made out a couple of times standing up where they were dancing.”

Teresa’s other flick, I Am Number Four, hits theaters on February 18.

Leighton Meester films scenes for Gossip Girl with her costar Penn Badgley on Friday (February 4) in New York.

The 24-year-old actress is featured in the March 2011 issue of Vanity Fair as the “opener.”

Leighton talked about the comparisons between her character in Country Strong and the classic film All About Eve.

“She just wants to be close to her idol and be best friends,” Leighton said. “She never gets that. It's sad. It's an endearing thing about her that she's not a total bitch—she does mean well.”

Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine will sing “If I Rise” from 127 Hours, which was originally performed by Dido.
