The 2010 American Music Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 21) in Los Angeles.

The show featured performances from a wide array of performers including Rihanna, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, the Black Eyed Peas, and New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys.

Justin Bieber led the winners pack with four awards, followed by Usher and Eminem, who both left with two trophies each.

The 31-year-old “Wake Up” singer was accompanied by his girlfriend, model Christine Teigen (in Marchesa). During the ceremony, John and Jenny McCarthy presented the award for “Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Pop or Rock” to The Black Eyed Peas.

Later on in the ceremony, Gavin and Santana performed “Bang a Gong (Get it On)” together. Watch below!

Julianne Hough graces the red carpet at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 21) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old entertainer, whose film Burlesque will be released in theaters this Wednesday, presented an award tonight at ceremony.

Julianne’s boyfriend Ryan Seacrest presented the award for Artist of the Year to teen sensation Justin Bieber, who brought home all four of the awards that he was nominated for.

The 23-year-old Glee sensation sang Katy’s song “Teenage Dream” on his first episode of the hit musical series. The song went on to be the fastest-selling song for the show to date.

The group gave a glow in the dark performance of their new song “This Time (The Dirty Bit),” which samples the classic song “The Time of My Life.” How awesome were the light-up cube heads on the backl-up dancers?! The costume lights were created and designed by iLuminate.

Earlier in the evening, the Black Eyed Peas picked up the award for Favorite Band, Duo or Group (Pop or Rock)! Fergie paired her Zuhair Murad dress with Rene Caovilla grey Swarovski crystal platform heels.

FYI: During BEP’s performance, Fergie wore a creation from B Akerlund, which was a collaboration with London-based designer Belle Sauvage. Also, Taboo wore Taboo Deltah 3008 sneakers.
