Shakira spends her afternoon speaking to a house of students at Oxford University’s Student Union in Oxford, England on Monday (December 7).

The 32-year-old singer spoke about the need for universal access to education, eradicating poverty and supplementing economic growth.

Shakira said she has an idea of how she wants the youth of 2060 to remember next year: “That our mission for global peace consisted of sending 30,000 educators to Afghanistan, not 30,000 soldiers,” she said. “That in 2010, world education became more important than world domination.”

Rihanna and her BFF Melissa Forde sit courtside and enjoy watching a basketball game together at Madison Square Garden on Monday night (December 7) in New York City.

Celine Dion gets into the holiday spirit as she performs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., while taping the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade TV special on Friday (December 4).

The 41-year-old singer performed the holiday classic “O Come All Ye Faithful” during the taping. The show will air Christmas Day (Friday, December 25) on ABC!

Robert Downey, Jr. is in high spirits as he’s celebrated at the Hand and Footprint Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Monday (December 7).

The 44-year-old Sherlock Holmes actor immortalized his hand and foot prints for the Grauman’s forecourt, famous for its collection of stars’ prints. Pictured with him are his mom, Elsie, wife Susan (a Holmes producer) and his mother-in-law.

THR asked Rob if he was having more fun than he would have if he’d had a successful career 20 years ago. Here’s what he said:

“Absolutely more fun now, perhaps because I’ve lived more mistakes than I could possibly repeat. I’m kind of a professional troubleshooter in a sense. Having done so many films the less than optimal way, I tend to smell the end result of faulty process pretty acutely … and hopefully help it be avoided by my co-workers.”

The 37-year-old burlesque beauty, who signed copies of her book “Dita: Stripteese” on Friday, performed a show on Saturday night at Miami Beach’s LIV nightclub and sounded happy to get on stage in the Sunshine State!

Hulk Hogan is engaged to his girlfriend of nearly two years, Jennifer McDaniel, a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly.

The 56-year-old wrestler filed for divorce in November 2007 from his ex-wife, Linda. The proceedings were finalized just four months ago.

TMZ has a video of the Hulkster pointing out the massive engagement ring he just bought Jennifer.

“I have had so many funny ones over the years,” she said.

“I won Best Actress at the Rio Film Festival, which doesn’t exist anymore, so it’s probably a collector’s item,” Helen shared. “But now I have put them in the attic to be discovered after I’m gone.”

As for how she feels about her latest award, Helen laughed and said, “Old.” Love her!!

When I was 12 or 13, I remember walking up the driveway, and this guy who was 20 — which may have been highly inappropriate — said to me, ‘I like your pants,’ and I was like ‘Oh, that looks good? The 31-year-old actor took part in a salute to legend Mel Brooks, who co-created the film and musical Young Frankenstein as well as other classic films and plays.

“I like crossing the line every now and then, and [Mel] is kind of the master of crossing that line, being a little offensive at times,” Matt said. “The man is a living legend.”

During the event, Matt also sang “Springtime for Hitler,” a song from the classic musical The Producers!

Fresh on the heels of the hugely successful Twilight franchise, Summit Entertainment is working on a movie about the most famous vampire of all time, Dracula, aka Vlad the Impaler.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is called Vlad, written by 29-year-old British actor Charlie Hunnam (pictured).

Brad Pitt will produce alongside Dede Gardner via the duo’s Plan B Entertainment production company. Brad has a bit of experience with vampires himself, having starred in 1994’s Interview With the Vampire.

Set to direct the film is music video master Anthony Mandler, who has worked with Rihanna on a dozen of her videos including her latest “Russian Roulette.”

Alexander Skarsgard reunites with and nuzzles his Generation Kill co-star Jon Huertas during a party over the weekend in California.

Jon joked, “I tried to tell him, ‘Skarsgard, you only play a vamp on TV!’ Then he bit me.”

Alex, 33, recently told France’s Toute La Tele that he tries to avoid press about his hit vampire show, True Blood. He said, “I try to avoid blogs, or websites related to the show. As an actor, I don’t think it’s good to read everything that is written about True Blood. If you read a lot of positive things on the show, it would probably be bad for my ego. (laughs) And negative criticism would get my attention but I would start doubting myself.”

The shoot was inspired by the Johnny Depp/Kate Moss romance of the early 90's. Model Petey Wright played Depp while Madonna’s backup dancer Sofia Boutella completed the ménage à trois.

Yu Tsai told Page Six, “I was always fascinated by Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and when I asked Lindsay to do a shoot, she jumped at the chance. It was all about her being sexy, channeling Kate from the ’90s.”

A steamy video is being released tomorrow on YouTube, along with the magazine this week!
